Senior Software Architect
We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Architect to bring to life and further enhance our patient documentation system which aims to revolutionize medical professionals' daily work.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee the product's performance, security, and continuous improvement in our production environment.
You'll manage release processes and serve as the primary interface between our development team and product stakeholders.

Develop and refine the product's architecture to ensure robust performance and scalability
Implement innovative solutions to optimize system efficiency, security, and user experience

Proactively address potential IT security vulnerabilities within the product ecosystem and collaborate with the development team to implement security measures
Monitor and enhance the product's information security, identifying and mitigating potential risks
Ensure adherence to relevant healthcare data privacy regulations and standards

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for product stakeholders, addressing complex product-related inquiries
Translate client needs into actionable technical requirements for the backend team
Lead technical onboarding for new clients and liaise with their IT representatives
Conduct initial assessment and root cause analysis of critical technical issues

Oversee the release cycle, including secure database migrations, comprehensive documentation and release notes, and proactive log monitoring
Coordinate with the development team to ensure smooth product operations, prompt issue resolution, and minimal downtime during updates
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Profile and Requirements:
Extensive experience in backend software development, particularly in healthcare IT systems
Strong interest in solving complex technical challenges related to product architecture, security, and operational improvements
In-depth understanding of healthcare IT standards (e.g., FHIR), familiarity with medical device regulations, knowledge of relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 13485)
Proficiency in cloud computing and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, S3, PostgreSQL)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of successful project leadership and cross-functional collaboration
Fluency in German and English to effectively interact with German-speaking clients
